Had a nice dawnie this morning before work.
Monster southerly swell, but nice and laid back in the protected southern corner of Maroubra. Tricky to get onto in a stiff offshore, and I made a bit of a twat of myself dropping in on a couple of people, but a couple of nice rides made it worth it.

Then I cycled to work. I'm knackered.

Satisfying achey after a weekend in the water. The waves were a bit inconsistent, but some nice sections to be had :D

Vibe in the line-up was good too.

Sunday and another great DP.......YEAH!!!!

Today I get to give surf lessons to 9 kids 7-9 years old......should be a good time to pass on some stoke.

34 years surfing, I feel more stoke each time I touch the water :D

9 kids turned into 12....but only 8 had the balls to try the surf.

I took em just inside of the impact zone, one at a time, and pushed them into white water, 5 actually stood up, and rode it to the shore.

I'm considering a weekend business of teaching, What will parents pay? Can you say liability release.

I went for Anglesey instead - what a pile of crap! Well - maybe not completely crap, but not a patch on Hells Mouth, that's for sure.

It was clagged in and messy as anything, although the odd set did come through and I managed to catch one really nice left..........

Good on ya though - nice pic - sure it's not photoshopped though mate?? :P

You know I was kidding 'bout the pic Karl - just jealous that I ended up in a crowded load of poo and you look like you had an almost perfect day!

I'm still going to give that park a go when I can pluck up the courage (more coz I'll look like a total idiot than anything else) - and if HM get's any more days like this, then I'll take you up on that lift!! :)
