Latest Swell: chest high, crystal clear, Aframe peaks, in a pool LOL. We rented Typhoon Lagoon, near Walt Disney World, for the evening. We do it once a year.

If you don't mind me asking how much does that set you back?

South West last week. Sat-Tues 2-3ft mostly clean.

Widemouth was heaving, Northcott and Sandymouth never more than a handfull out . Hooked up with Phil for a quick paddle at Widdy, nice to meet you.

Weds snapped a fin in 1-2ft surf over the rocks. Good job i took spares.

Thurs blown out and small, Friday small onshore but surfable.

All in all not a bad week, and it was nice and warm in the sun.

Had a wicked surf today, well two actually. Morning and afternoon session.
Did my first no paddle wave. Was looking for g/friend on beach. Looked back, no wave, carried on looking at beach, looked back again wave.... big wave, rocked into it, popped and woosh, got it, wicked.

Second session, did my first nose ride, right up front on a 7'6" beginners board, went over the front at the end of the wave cause I didn't run back quick enough, and the board hit me on the head as I came up, but was still stoked.

Sunday, hit the beach early, 3-5 foot, stacked, offshore, pumping and freezing cold, only 3 or 4 other people in. Damn good waves, but too cold to be a hero.

Got out at 10.00am, jumped in the truck, quick 1 1/2 hr drive to Mt Hutt, went snowboarding for the rest of the day. 20cm of fresh powder overnight, and blue skies

Home for dinner at 6.00pm.

Looking good this morning too, so hopefully I'll bunk off work this arvo for a few waves.

Just had an awsome four days in Devon. Got down there late sunday, too late to surf unfortunately.

Despite the forecast I've had a good few days, it's been consistantly a couple of feet up till today when there was sod all! Monday was a bit messy, tuesday was really nice, small but quite well formed. Wednesday was the same but really small, ridable though.

I've really managed to progress my surfing on the first three days, but I've now hit another learning stumbling block, but that's one for the surf lessons.

Went to Bantham yesterday, pretty flat but was able to catch a few. Best part was wearing BOARDIES!!!

Had a load of mates down this weekend and we jumpe in at Booblies reefs for 1-2ft of slap over muccels beds good fun.

Saturday - Saunton - small but clean ...... 7 hours in the water destroyed my shoulders a bit, but it was worth it - and some random bloke even took my piccy, which was nice!!

i really wana get a waterproof camera so i can make vids n take photos. its gonna be my next purchase, and i'll then be able to make you all jealous instead of the other way round. by the way nice pics guys.

just got in from the most insane surf ever, on my new longboard.
Pulled up in van to see massive tubing waves breaking so far out, thought no way, I can't go out in that it's too big.
My dad died two days ago of heart failure, and I thought if he was here he'd just say go on you can do it. So I did.
The paddle out was scary enough. Sat out back for a while watching the waves. The back of the wave was bigger than what I normally surf. The other guys and girls surfing knew I was probably way out of my league, and kept putting me first in the line up, and I missed a couple of big waves. I thought if I don't take one soon they're gonna tell me to get out.
A big set came rolling in, let the first wave go, and the second one was much bigger, and I was spot on for position. took it and made it. it was so fast going down the drop in, and I couldn't trim it but I made it, and after a couple of the others said how big it was and it looked insane.
Took a couple more also but again couldn't get the log I was riding to turn too good at that speed, not enough weight on the back of the board I think.
Even so well stoked that I even managed to get a few. Wish my dad could have seen it though.

Burnt down to Leven lastnight and it was big but phat with the high tide being so big... so opted for high tide Praa in the big heavy shoredump puyshing 5-7ft. Opened up loads, well hollow. Loads of chuns. Boshed up pretty good!

Had my first sesh for ages on my new webber fatburner and it was awesome, bit messy from the wind, so we walked to a diferent part and it was beautiful! Can't wait till sat!

It is 120 bucks (US) per person, and you get about 20 waves. It is a full night of Surfing for sure. By the time you paddle in, and run around to get back in line, you only have to wait for 1-2 waves and it's your turn again. Best part is the sound the Wave macine makes when it sends out a Wave. Sounds like a giant toilet LMAO.

Hit praa agan last night till dark with a pallie then kipped over in van at LEven to hit the reef in the morning... wasn;t worth it long lulls. a bt confused and about 20 people out (by 7am!)

Surfed Cocoa Beach all day for the Hurricane Dean Swell. Well it was the beggining of the Swell anyways. Started the Morning off with knee to waist, ended the day in Head high chop.
