Steve

Do not give up fella.

Even the worst disasters in the world can be patched into a useable board.
At worst you can hack off the mess around the rails and make up a light poly and micro balloon filler mixture to smoothes things out then lam over the top.

OK it would not look the best but it would be usable so maybe conceder paining the board after it is finished to improve the looks.

Thanks for the hugs guys. :)

Anyway, today I made my next move by cutting the lap off with a stanley knife as KS suggested. I then used a bit of resin on the rail sections just to flatten down the glass fibre on the edges. Then I brought down a heater and left it on the board for a while, making careful positioning so as not to set the board on fire

Good thing is, it has gone fairly hard now and the bugs dont get stuck.
So.. looks like Ive saved it but now I have to find a way to flatten down the big dry bubbles on the underside of the board and then glass the deck.

Bets that I'll make a mess of that to! Jokin, Ive learnt my lesson the hard way. I'll take my time next time round and make sure I get the lap right.

Thanks for the help.

I'll post again when I've finished it!
