John is something not from this Earth, that's for sure. So many things point that way. When john got slapeed, after Butchy got his a** kicked, there was a small earthquake, and the "Thug/drug dealer" keeps calling him a Shapeshifter. Ever since he's been around Butch doesn't get dope sick, and his head burns when he does dope. Mitch floated twice, a parrot is brought back to life, so it can bring Suan back to life. Now thats some wierd stuff going on, I am gonna watch all episodes to see where it goes from here.

The dialog is a bit corny, but how could it not be? We are after all watching Californian surfers

If I were thin skinned, that remark about California surfer's may have offended me... as it is, I know precisely what you mean, so I'm no in the least offended.

i have almost completely given up on this show....i feel like at some parts i had just fallen asleep because i have no idea what is going on. the characters do weird things suddenly and THERES BEEN NO SURFING SINCE THE SECOND EPISODE. not to mention Sean is the WORST actor to ever be on TV. i cringe when i hear him talk. too bad they canceled Deadwood for this show...disappointed.

I watched half of episode 4 and switched it off!

As you say it has nothing to do with surfers/surfing!

We get a soap over here called Eastenders which is set in London and really popular. All it is is half an hour of incredibly angry people shouting and stressing at each other. That is what this show is reminding me of.

But what else is there to watch until Prison Break comes back on!?!
