I've never actually been there as never seen the point of driving past Croyde.
I'm going there in June though as I wanted to have a surf trip for my leaving do but didn't want to take a load of my pissed up mates to somewhere nice and villagey like Croyde!
Seeing as most of my mates dont surf I'm not gonna whinge about all the tourists getting in the way!

Ive never had a problem with Newquay, locals seem friendly, food is always good, surf is just outside the Hotel i stay in !

where do you stay?

Always stay at the Esplanade besides Fistral beach
