well in the 'flat surf' i had an excellent day at Fistral beach today... for someone just learning how to surf unbroken waves, i rejoice for days like today!!

You say tomato, i say tomato; you say poor surf, i say wicked surf!!

Small, clean waves! Waves of my dreams! Had a great day... :D

I'm off to sit in the sunshine, then going to the pub....

Its an 'okay' thing to do, but it doesnt get me all excited like a surf trip :(

Better get used to it.....

Nice pics of the east coast - although it has made me wish for some waves even more!

Well, it is well and truly as flat as a pancake here...

There hasn't been anything since Saturday. I woke up today, convinced that all my hoping would guarantee something, just something to surf today, opened my curtains and.....

.....and there was nothing. So flat. Fistral Beach is starting to look slightly creepy.

Its 27 degrees c here at the moment, and I've just come back from St Ouen, where its so bloody flat that its almost inverted.

Happy to say that the lifeguards are back though

we've got some swell coming towards us....well "swell" is a loose term around here.

traveling north, I'm going to an isolated beach tommorow, and this is what it looks like 100 miles south.

those pictures change all the time, so depending on when you look at it, it might look like crap
