We went for a week in SD. But I think a short weekend will work because your arms will be so tired after the first day that it will be shaking. Feb is when the big waves hit. I've surfed the winter swell in SD a few times and I got really scared. I'm thinking whether to take the massive drop on the lip or the great white that might be lurking around the water.

Dunno why BaNZ frightens. He surfs very well, very smooth.

My reptile menagerie is really getting out of hand now. I have my bearded dragon, ball python, leopard gecko, African fat tailed gecko and now a Schneider skink! But they are good on their own for a handful of days, and I have a few friends who will water them and throw them some insects here and there.

Marcus looks cute. I don't think I understand the desire to have a reptile as a pet though but don't worry because I don't understand why people still ride horses.

aww thanks! he's actually a little bit of a skittish d*ck, but I love him all the same. reptiles are just the most misunderstood pets - my snake is very docile and actually affectionate! she loves to curl around me when I play the guitar and she's always trying to slither along the neck to help me play haha! different things for different people - that's why there's chocolate and vanilla. oh, and I'm with you - horses are gross

Bearded dragons are Australian natives, goannas are monitors, we have frill necked lizards, theyare spectacular.

Blue tongue lizards, any number of the top ten venomous snake and about 10 or more python types.
Export of Aussie animals highly illegal so I can only hope your bearded dragon has been captive bred!

There is virtually no area in Australia including cities without resident snakes and lizards up to blue tongue size!

Lucky!! And yep, all my reptiles are captive bred - they tend to be healthier (ie no parasites) when captive bred as well.
