Atleast when a great white hits they normally just take one bite and figure out that its a human and leave MOST OF THE TIME, but he have tiger sharks, they take quite a bit more then one bite. And friggin bull sharks, theyre just mean!

if you ever surf more then once in your life, youll see many sharks. theyre not that scarry, thats like going camping and seeing a bear, its not scarry unless its after you.

no not really, ive fished all my life and seen sharks all the time, so i know that a shark is way more interested in fish then a person. the only time ive been scared was when my cousin got hit by a bull shark and then the xxxxx went after me, but we both made it in alright.

.. being in the UK we dont have to worry too much about the grey fellas' .. although i still dont know what i punched just beneath the surface of the water one stormy day last year but it was big .. i kinda put it down to being an old oil barrel or something ! but who knows occasionally we get large visitors to our southern shores ..apparentely ! ...

" i know one thing guys .. i would sooner be out in the water with sharks than being in the water with half of our countrys waste bobbing about in the water ...

Shark attacks

Postby San Diego Longboarder » Thu Jun 30, 2005 7:01 am

42 years and I've never seen a shark in the wild. I've seen barracuda up close and personal, dolphins, seals, rays, tuna etc., but never a shark. Guess So. Cal is blessed! I've surfed from Santa Barbara to K 202 in Baja.
