Given the problems listed above concerning the environment, I suggest you start using organic surf wax :D . Eventually, the

exchange should not be so traumatic, especially with Sticky Bumps "soy wax." Sex wax, in my opinion, is just a famous brand, like

surf wax is not good. Sticky Bumps produces fantastic grip, the "soy wax" must not be less, and more we contribute the

ocean  .

Hey ! Still in this process of environmental protection I discovered this brand : Surf Wax Box surfwaxbox.com
It's a wooden case to store your surf wax !! The brand was born in Hossegor, South Of France! Not bad 8)

I briefly looked around at the hazards of using various waxes and it seems paraffin wax isn't so bad. It does biodegrade although maybe not as fast as some other waxes and it is nontoxic.
So what is worse.... dying or regretting it for the rest of my life? Obviously I chose not regretting it.

Honestly there's a great conflict between surfers talking about nature and the products they use.

I switched to Versatraction for my longboards and I've been living happily without wax for the last 3 years or so.

I believe that for recreational surfer it's good enough. Everyone should say goodbye to wax.
