You and hang11 should come over to the U.S. before the Hollywood writer's strike ends! I see real comedy talent here! Thanks to fafanator for the inspiration! I haven't laughed so hard on a thread in a very long time! Thanks guys!

Thanks for the compliment, but I think me and RJD are happy living in the land of the long white cloud, being an accountant and software developer respectively, and getting to enjoy the goods that Huey is sometimes kind enough to offer us up.

Whoa, you guys are relentless, eh? Don't most people think they surf better than they actually do? Man, I always feel like I'm ripping, then I look at my surf pics and think "man, what a kook!"

Oh c'mon... yeah, of course there's always a bit of that, but this idiot is claiming 15ft barrels in one thread and asking how to get out of the whitewater on another.

Dude, it is not actually something that happened, just a nice story, like a essay, or a short story, common, it is just a nice STORY, common.

No, I didn't clame that, I sayed it was going to be 15ft, and stormy, no one will go out in it (unless thy are complete mental cases.). plus in my "location" it is just one of those things you write, just to make it a bit more entertaining.

Common, you guys need to have a sence of when something is serserious and when it isn't. When I asked what you think I ment what you think about the story, not what you think about the surfing, it is just a nice story!!!!!!
It is aout a guy that had the surf session of his life, and the meaning behind it is that the moment of perfection is always a fleeting one.

Common, do you really think that something in that a poetic style can be serious, whts next, do you think a fiction writer is trying to make you b eleave the stuff he writes, btw to tell you the truth I wrote this for English creative writing, it is just a story, like Lord of the Rings, The Screwtape Letters, or any other fiction, I wish people would stop thinking I am serious even when I write in a totally poetic style of writing. (poetic doesn't neccaseraly mean it rymes)

what? it really was? i was just reading another post by you Faf and i thought it was for some kind of english essay. whatever anyway! you're obviously a grom like me and we will get the pi** ripped out of us even if we don't do anything wrong so when you write some essay on here you will get it much worse.

as well when you're in the water most older people will think that they have priority over you even though they say that they follow the surfing etiquette (or how ever you spell it!).

so basically, only post things that are true and even better if you have evidence. or clearly state that that was supposed to be some homework before writing it!

Huh? I'm pretty much a grom too but that was'nt a poetic essay. I'm not trying to be mean, I'm sure it was just an innocent post but it was pretty damn weird, especially the epilepsy bit.

lol i kow it was weird but it reminded me so much of writing 'descriptive writing' of a chipshop on a match day or something in my gcse's.

basically what i am saying is...if your going to talk sh** on here you will get it ripped out of you. i don't imagine that many people on here are pro surfers so if you say you are..especially after surfing 3 weeks then you are blatantly lying
