we have a 30ft open sea swell, its gonna be big, in anyones standards.

Beaches won't hold the size unless its wrap around, points and shelter will be best bet. A few of the reefs will be ok, slab reeef as a rule, as big as evacuation swell last year. Will post pics if i get the time.

Sure there willl be pasties aeound with skis and photog.

peeumping this morning on the East Coast  found shelter from the wind and a more manageable wave. A few South Africans in the line up tasting the bitter cold of the North Sea - they were ripping it up too.

Well beaches pretty much maxed out at solid 6+, had wrap around shelter 4-5. My lift won't head elsewhere at the mo and i can't complain at the costs at the mo, i'm skint.

Easy paddle out at this wrap around sheltered bay. North facing beaches pretty much maxed out early when i took my pics.

This pic grabbed from someone else shows how easy the paddle out is.

Swell was a lot more organised by the time this pic was taken and dropping fast.
