Swell is deffinately picking up, looks good for the next week. Was 1-2ft choppy on Friday night in Gennith , and had a nice surf today in Rhossili which was 3-4ft choppy.

Groveled in 2-3ft of lumpyness last night :( was quite nice when the torential rain came down... smoothed the lumps off and very refreshing.

I was tempted to go out thismorning but on looking at it it really doesn't seem worth it. I'd have to go in at main beach thanks to the tides and its still pretty lumpy.. :(

Horrible surf today - 5ft messy at Llangennith, some waves way way out at sea looked like they were 6-7ft. Paddle out was tough, trying to fight the lines of white water, duck diving was difficult too as you had to dive a lot deeper otherwise you would get blasted by these 5ft plunging messy waves. Strong cross winds too which made it all lumpy and choppy. I got a bad ear ake, so left early tonight. Bad day for surfing.

I wouldn't have thought so. I should have gone to Mewslade, the conditions would have worked for it I think. Maybe go there tomorrow.

Its not far from Rhossili, you gotta park in the farm and walk down this path of mountatins and caves.. to get there.

Tonight, Caswell picked up to 2-3ft however it was rubbish, it was all choppy, no wind to hold up the waves and as soon as you caught a wave you couldn't pick up speed. There wasn't much power behind it. Didn't see you GowerCharger , did you go to Gennith then? You didn't miss anything in Caswell anyway.

last i heard paul henrys house burnt down and his board collection was destroyed. Always seemed odd to me that he had all those boards anyway seeign as he used to surf on the most bashed up and repaired plank ive ever seen that seemed to slip sideways more than it went forwards.

Caswell has dropped right off, it was 1ft this morning, and crowded with kids. Rhossili/Llangennith should be alright (I hope) for the next week

I took a drive down Caswell then. Waves didn't look too bad but found it as really busy down there so didn't stay.

Went over to Langland then to find it was flat.

I heard Langland was breaking nice yesterday , 3ft solid. Anyhow just come back from Llangennith and it was 2-3ft choppy. Wasn't that good, it was way too choppy and lumpy to catch any decent rides. There was such a strong westerly wind of 25mph, I cant believe how far down the beach it took me , almost ended up in rhossili lol

oh and its usually free to park there after 6 or 7, but today the guy who charges for camping at the camping hut had the controls for the barrier to park in the car park , so you have to pay him in the evenings now. Also it closes at 10pm now :( instead of 12
