Bahaha, damn you Laguna, you lucky lucky *&%^ I'm surfing whenevr I can, but it seems that when I have a spare second, the swell goes away  Even then, I have to drive for pretty much an hour for anything remotely surfable at the moment... unless I'm missing out on something here :? Might end up moving, somewhere closer to consistent surf...

The swell has dropped off now, it was good last weekend. Sat had a good 4-5ft choppy, sunday was 5-6ft messy, monday was 2-3ft clean, and now its gone to 1-2ft clean/choppy.
Been going to Llangennith and Rhossilli mainly, they are very consistent. 1-2ft should be fun later on this evening. Make the most of it I say :D

Laguna do you think that tommorow (thurs) will produce anything for either rhosilli or geneth?

By the looks of it, it is dieing down but Llangennith would be the best bet, I would imagine it being 1-2ft choppy which can still be fun.

Will do. Think tomorrow will be the last day of this swell, friday - mon doesnt look like much. Tuesday might be picking up - fingers crossed.
I'll be going to llangennith this evening and tomorrow sometime, not sure when.

i had a cracking session this morning left at 5am was in the water by 6am perfect peeling soild 2ft with odd 3ft pushing through not even a breath of wind untill about 10:30 when it went on shore and messed it all up, pulled off a few lovely floaters and my first round the house cutback the waves were peeling perfectly you could ride them from about 500 yards out almost to the shore

bring the mountian bike incase its flat ill show you a few little trails around north devon or some epics on exmoor if your intrested

hoping that low forming in the atlantic doesnt move to far north and sends in some waves for next week

Just had an amazing session. Was out from 7 till it got dark at 10, was a lovely 1-2ft clean and sometimes you would get the odd 3ft breaks. Water was warm, felt really relaxed and peacful. There was a good vibe in the water, around 40 odd people surfing till late , all being really cool and sociable.

Can I tell you about my brief but utterly sweet surf today?

I caught a wave that was 5/6ft! I have it on good authority it was that big!!

And I was so fleshin terrified but I was out with friends who are really good and experienced surfers and I didn't want them to think I was a woss.

So, with fear in my heart, I grit my teeth and paddled, caught the wave and off I went! Did a bottom turn too, then I wiped out, but I am so stoked it's untrue.... It was so much fun!! (Hate to think of the rinsing I would have got if I wiped out....)

I was hooked before, but now I'm hooked with a great big fat fish hook!! :D

Thats great! Its an awsome feeling dropping in off the lip down a big wave - the speed is incredible. Wish it was 5-6ft here right now.

So gutted, we have this amazing weather, looks to be sunny and very hot for the next week but theres no more waves!
Today was 0-1ft and it will stay like that until tue/wed, which looks to be small anyway (possibly 1-2ft clean) and then thursday drops off to flat again......
Praying Tuesday and Wednesday will be surfable
