Did not catch any, just couldn't get in the right place and was undergunned, but did catch some big 9ft faces, at least overhead and a half. Just ordered a semi-gun from my shaper, could have used it today. The gems where the overhead peelers that where super long rides on big fat lips, really fast.
Not crowded, though I heard Scripps and Sunset had lots of surfers out

I surfed southside in OB this morning was fun a little bit thick and ficklle but got some good rides. Then almost immedietly went out to the cliffs and caught some screaming rights with that negative tide pulling in the waves were very peaky. A tad inconsistant and shifty but if you were pitted right you would get so much speed off takeoff. Was uncrowded where i was surfing only 5-8 guys out and waves were hitting 6ft+ the set waves had a very steep face maybe in the arena of 8ft+ a few outsiders just washed us all to pieces. The takeoff was tricky and fast.
However i came with an inch of my life took a set wave bomb probably one of the biggest sets of the day and had a exceptionally long ride i kinda got carried away and when i got waaay inside the reef just sucked out and went dry. I stomped on my tail and flicked it while diving over the exposed rockes into the closeout tube. Ended up getting worked on the reef bouncing off the rocks and all sorts. No damage to me or board which is amazing considering the beating i took and i suspect the board took as well

Where did you end up surfing? Pescadero or Osprey? I almost cruised there first...
