2 epic sessions on the gower yesterday. first one was very windy but offshore so not worries. the waves were hollow and pretty peeling perfectly when we got in and just got faster and faster til they were pretty much a closeout. almost got barreled early on in the session.

next one. same beach but later on. the wind had dropped right down leaving glassy perfect waves. all day there was no one other than the 6 of us who went for the first session and the two of us who went for the second session so youll all understand why i havent named the beach. not exactly a secret though.

Surfed the local city beach today, after work. It's turning summer and it fleshin' shows. 30 surfers per 100 square meters. Screaming, crashing and the only times I managed to get up without three others on the wave, I had to dodge the beginners in the second line. Can winter come back already? :P

A session worth mentioning today as the swell built to 16ft 15sec. it set of a break i've not surfed since spring and I had it all to myself :D chest high and such a beautiful middle section.

Great to hit up somewhere different.

Out at Maroubra today. Tried a new fin combo - a thruster set up - on the hybrid-fish today (due to smacking the fish fins into the sand last weekend  )

And had a few stunning waves - I got it holding the wall far better than before, which I'd always thought was a rail issue. Back out again tomorrow just to make sure

A very fun session today with hefty size pushing in but just about holding in the slightly cross winds.
big speed, big shoulder, big bumps and big smile :)

Local photog. Gary McCall ( http://www.potatobread.co.uk ) got some shots of me on the sesh, i'll put them up in a sec.

had an awesome weekend surfing the gower. BIG and windy (cross shore) at rhossili on friday. got some of the biggest waves ive had since i came to uni. saturday was better with loads less wind. had three sessions on saturday. Langland in the morning, Rhossili in the afternoon then stopped on the way back for another little surf after the wind dropped off completely. Today was pretty sweet with chest to head high waves and an offshore breeze. had areally good surf and everyone was there too. im spent now though.

Small today, very small. But nice and clean, and a fat, easy wave at Dee Why/Long Reef, which makes a change

Got a couple of nice waves - lefts, waisthigh.
Weather nice and warm, water balmy. All good. 8)
