Second-hand board...

Right, I live in Birmingham and I dont drive so I wont get to surf as often as I would like. Im looking at buying a board because it removes the hassle of then trying to find a hire shop in an area i'm not familiar with. With these factors to consider I don't really want to buy a new board. Saw this on fleebay and just wanted some opinions on this board i'm 6"1 and weight 11 stone, i'm pretty new to surfing but don't have a problem standing up.

What do you want to ride, shortboards or longbords?

i dont really know its just that everyone says to learn on a mini-mal board and then progress onto a shortboard. I jus want to buy a board to be honest. any suggestions?

IMO stick with a proper longboard, least 9'2", 23 x 3 or so, or bigger.

Untill you can get out back on 2-3ft days & catch clean waves, put a bottom turn in then trim along the face. Then consider what kind of surfing you want to do. Theres quiet a difference between short & long boards.

I think the 7'6" board is perfect to learn on. Its epoxy, so it's tuff and should be quite light, around 6kg. It will be a lot easier to get out back than a proper longboard, and will generally be less of a handful to cope with when you are hit with a wall of white water.
I surf a 6'3" superfish a 7'6" funboard and a 9'1" longboard and I learnt on the 7.6. I wouldn't have wanted to try and learn on the longboard in any but the very smallest of waves, because until you know what you are doing (and I'm still not sure I do), the longboard can be very difficult to control in bigger surf.
I'm not familiar with the make you've posted about, but if its around the 6kg mark then I would go for it. For your height and weight it should be good.
