board cleaning

does anyone have any tips on getting the last little bits of wax off as i need the board super clean to put a tail pad on?? cheers felix

White spirit and a scouring pad (gently).
Then rub off any remaining residue with a clean cloth. Comes up lovely and shiney.

So shiney in fact that you might want to think about getting a bit of wet n' dry and roughing up the area that you're gonna stick the pad to, to make it stick.

Followed by a good acetone scrub.
