Here is my weekend prediction for the Yorkshire coast

Not too bad when i first hit it, nice few lefts, but the very strong offshores were holding it up too much as the tide got high. Very steep take offs.

I was fair stoked with a couple of them till i got out for a break and saw some of the rippers popping 360 airs and getting cheeky barrels.

Not sure if James saw, talked to him briefly but got a briefest of brief cover up (head dip) on the shore break at the end before bam eating sand big style. I wish i could surf.

Was going to overnight it but dropping swell and more north in the wind scuppered that plan.

Next pulse Tues looks interesting, bigger too.

Head high today. Bigger at other spots looking at the pics.

<----- Is jealous

Glad y'all got some good surf up there for once though, it sounded groovy. Let's hope the autumn brings plenty of decent surf for you lot.

My first east coast expriance was awsome, the waves were much cleaner than the ones i normay surf in north walse.

I even started to get in tune with my new board, it was ace

Surfed Cayton bag on sat, to fast and steep for me on my new board, then went south bay and had a wicked time.

east coast rocks

eye, mine was awesome, it was pretty hollow at the one part i was surfing, although after a huge wipeout i moved further down because the tide was getting close to these rocks, and some guy wiped out and got washed over them cutting his wetsuit and injuring himself, but i though it was awesome, is the wind normally offshore? because in the last week i havn't seen it go in any other direction?

we tend to get more offshores than most of the uk but its not always offshore. a fairly common scenario is a swell accompanied by a NW wind at which point everyone heads for south bay because it works in a NW.

Never seen the east coast so busy.

My tinternet has been down at work today but the general trend seems to be more of the same lows to the North. Not sure they will all slot into our window but after Thurs wait till late Sunday into Monday.

i surfer again yesterday, slightly better than the weekend because there was less wind and purrfecto waves, loving it, i even got inside a wave for a second until it closed out on me, but pretty good surf, might hit down today as well although the swells not so big
