I'm still hoping to be there but Im having some van 'issues'

I think a CV joint has gone, but need to check it this evening. Not sure how serious it is yet, so we'll have to wait and see.

Sounds like Ive hit the Wizard of Oz's Tinman on a zebra crossing and Im dragging him along underneath the van

But only intermittently. Will get under the van tonight and have a better look than I had time to yesterday. If all else fails I'll go with the usual VW van method - cross fingers, drive til it stops working.
