Sittin on the lineup

Postby jnl90 » Mon Aug 13, 2007 11:20 pm

I noticed the other day, as I was sitting on my board waiting for a wave, that when I sat on my board, the board did not sink into the water. As I looked around, I saw that others who were sitting on their board had water up to a little over their waist.

Now, they had much smaller boards, as I'm on a 7'7", but I was wondering if that was weird.

It's not a big deal and I could really care less, but I just noticed it for the first time. It's just my weird paranoia.

The reason your floating higher is your board is either more buoyant or your lighter than the other guys in the line up. OR their boards are less buoyant.

No big deal either way.

lol, I don't blame you, if I were in your position, I'd find it amusing, as well. Hell, I, myself, find it funny.
