OK. Stupid question time. I've read the waxing tutorials and have a good coat of wax on my board. I have one question that is bugging me slightly.

The blocks of wax I've used (Mrs Palmer's & Magma) look like they should be broken into smaller pieces. At the moment I'm using the whole block.

Given what was said earlier about a complete noob being able to wax with confidence, I do feel a bit of a spanner for asking.

I know what you mean Jonah, I use Sticky Bumps and it has a dividing line acorss the centre, as if to suggest you'd break it in half. I never have though, just use it like the Rev says - the whole block!

Personally, I haven't used Sex Wax ever. It used to be so slippery. Never did care for the stuff.

Surf Research/Wax Research wax or Sticky Bumps for me.
