Surfpool: surf wave when there are no waves in your area

Postby robysurf » Fri Sep 10, 2004 7:54 am

Hello Surfers
When there are no waves in your Country ,
I would like to know if you would like to surf in a surfpool 70 meters X 30 meters with waves high from 60 cm to 2,4 m; adjustable pool floor so that you can ride lefts, rights and tubes and make soft beginner's wave.
How many surfers ( not windsurfers ) or bodyboarders are in your Country ( tell me which: i.e.: Switzerland,Germany;Austria....)?
The surfpool should be built in Italy ( If I found enough money...)
Reply me with your opinion at info@surf4ever.it
Thanks
Roberto

Fair play pulling the dosh together for a standing wave machine!

Not too sure about the location tho! I'm sure Italy does have a established surfing community but surly not as big as the western european countries?

Just somthing to think about I guess... As its needs to be worth while, ie people arn't going to travel from the UK, France, spain etc to Italy when the westcoasts are nearer and real waves...
