Great footage. I can't even envision the fear of those waves. I get really stressed/nervous just wondering about whether or not I'm going to be able to paddle over the top of a 4-5 footer to get out back or if I'll get knocked over the board. I can't even the 40 footers those guys/gals deal with. Then again, their "wiring" upstairs I'm sure is quite a bit different than normal humans.

*get out of bed, have cup of tea, look at break, take brain out of head, put brain in a box and stow safely out of the way under the bed, put post-it note in kitchen to remind yourself to put brain back in later, go and surf Mavs*

I'd LOVE to be good enough to do that!

The parachute regiment have a moto when it comes to jumps - "Knowledge dispels fear" the idea of it is you do so much training pre-jump, and you know so much about the mechanics of parachuting, when you jump you should be thinking about that, not "Oh flesh, I'm about to jump out of an airplane at 800ft!"

I guess it must be the same for them. Or they could just be completely loco!
