Hey i need help.....
Right now i have a 7'6 betty board. I really want a short board. A cheap one beacause my parents wont buy me another board. Im about 90 pds 5'2 but i dont want to get an exspensive board like an al merrick. I was thinking bout the 5'10 nsp because its only 200$. I want a board that i will be able to surf on. I have a post under beginner called surfing pics look if you want.
Thanks,
Jessica

Id say you get yourself a second-hand shortboard. I wouldnt say the NSP. NSP's are fine for learning on, but once youve mastered it, thats it y'know. You'l be wanting another board in no time. Next time a sales person trys to sell you an NSP, ask them if '' they surf an NSP, right?'' I think you'l find the answer to be no. Yeah ok, nobody can argue with the price of them, their a good, cheap hard-wearing board, but not a progressive board.
All the people at NSP have done is said ' Lets see how we can make an attractive, beginners board at the cheapest prics possible'
A custom will last you so much longer than that NSP.
Well thats what i'd recommend, get yourself a nice loose 2nd hand shortie.

check it .dont know if this is lagit for the sight, but if ya aint in to much of a hurry I can shape ya one just gimme the dimensions and I grine the foam for ya and if you were wondering board size aint everything a couple factors matter like what kinda waves ya surf.how much juce is there in the wave your working whith. stance, and desire to surf bigger or smaller waves to name a few.but don't be in to much of a hurry and buy a peice of crap cuse your just gonna have diffrent problems than you have now so no matter who you buy a board from and just cause someone got a big name don't mean there shaping boards for you and your area talk with not only a shop but a shaper if ya canand one more thing hot girls typicly get industry discounts so try working that if your old enough if not play the cute and sweet thing that works better anyway
