Does anyone know wats up with the Vans Triple Crown right now? I heard that it has been postponed due to an "unusual flat spell".

It's flat loads of the time at Pipe..infact 90% of the time it's flat or crappy.

As for the Triple crown, they only had a half day yesterday because it wasn't flat, but it was just really crappy winds and small waves. The only wave scored a 1.0 Now thats bad!

That really sucks. I hope it doesn't take to long to cast that spell and get some waves. :(

in response to surfdaisy's comment, and living in RI, the NE is actually only flat about 40% of the year, during hurricane season we can get waves 9ft+ in a good swell on the right beach.

Me thinks surf daisy NE UK. Don't think we are flat 90% it just feals like it during a long spell of no surf. But saying that the northerlies just aint been happening as regular as usual this year.

Anyone got any "watch live" links to the triple crown events :?:
Or should i put the effort in and go to the Vans website :!:
