Picking up my new board tonight but just read a thing about ebay related muggins, meeting in a public carpark but would some1 recomend taking something to hit him with or do you think it would be safe??????????

Reason for this is that saw the board on another forum that had a guy saying he would buy it 8 days before i contacted the dude saying I wanted it?

Trixcky??????????

Yep its a 6'5 wayne lynch to hopefully help me with the bigger stuff as ive found that no rocker on steep waves= hit the botom of the sea hard
Only thing is my new board is thin and narrow (181/4 X 2/14)

KS i used the last of my monopoly money paying you

lol.. ive got some counterfit monopoly money if anyones interested  :?:

Lex .. all seriousness bro .. a few months ago i drove to leeds to checkout a toy i had seen on an ebay style website and although the general meeting place for these things is a car park etc mainly through both the seller and the buyer having disstrust of the other .. just go steady man cause mine did turn out to be an attempted blag .. lol.. they were not prepared for 6'10 the Gashernator or the Arnie'esqu Locky balboa being along with me for the ride so all i saw was a vectra scream out of the carpark with some dude in the backseat eyeballing me all the way out . Now for me the toy in question (which was legal ) kinda draws its own obvious nutters as opposed to the surfing community but just go steady bro .. wouldnt want to hear that you got bopped on the head and left on yer own in the corner of a carpark so take a buddy with ya and ask to meet at like a KFC or summat somewhere still public yet enclosed enough for a takedown to not be really possible .. if your with me  8)

cheezee your cover is blown man i know you are secret service now

Having donw three such deals as mentioned above i would defo take a friend particully if you end up getting to the carpark and see a bunch of pikies waaiting (this actually happened i had 1k pounds on me - needless to say i just drove off it might of been innocent but no way was i risking it)) also do a sweep of the car park just drive around and get a feel for the surrounding area. (ps i did one of those future job surveys it said i should be a spy   )

Ive done it once - thought it was risky, so bullshitted about what car I was driving when we were arranging to meet. Wasnt risky in the end, but still worth being careful.

lmfao

Easiest, personally, i think is the old take him surfing with you..drag him out to sea with you...then let him go in the middle of the ocean. If anyone asks, he is a easy sleeper.

Thats why you keep seeing those floaters in Newquay

No it all went pretty well, board is in pretty good nick except thier is a hole going clean through it in the shape of an air rifle pellet + a few other minor dings but theyve all been crudely patched up so last night I took out all the old filla with a knife and am going to tart it up a bit, not yellowing of the foam but the bottom has started to change colour from the sun-well worth £120 with a bag!
