Indo Boards ?

Postby megsurfgurl » Sat Sep 02, 2006 10:20 am

Hey,

Its coming to winter now and I wont be surfing as much because the water in Wales is sooo cold. I want to keep doing stuff that will help with my surfing though, will an indo board help? Or is it just a waste of money?

Thanks for your help =]

personally i think you're better off to make your own cos all it really is a plank of wood on a cylindrical block. You'll save quite a bit that way. They are pretty good for strength but mainly balance, they're good fun too. :D

put the £90 odd for the indo board towards a good winter wetsuit and boots/gloves/hood.

The waves are far better in winter than they are in summer and you'll learn more out in the water than you ever will on an indo board :D

dont be a "summer surfer". the waters not that cold in winter. If you miss the winter youll miss the best swells and next summer could be completly flat. Surfing in winter is great, no crowds, lots of breaks coming alive after having no waves all summer. surfing is much better practice for surfing than messing a bout on a wobbly board thing.
