i'm gonna get my first board soon, and i've had a few lessons but can you suggest any beaches on the east coast that are good for beginners..(i live in grimsby). i want a beach thats pretty safe too, not like any rocks or nasty currents!

Hiya Bethy, I've never surfed on the East coast, but your best bet would be to ask local people. I would imagine there must be some surfable spots down the coast. The only one showing on Wannasurf is Sutton Sands

the beaches in lincolnshire are best at low tide as its about to come back in.
there is a lateral drift that takes you down the beach though.
