The most confused chart ever?

Postby drowningbitbybit » Tue Aug 15, 2006 10:52 am

I've never seen a chart looking quite as fleshed up as this one...

Image

All over the place! And back to front from what you'd expect at this time of year!

Sadly, its confused but not confusing..... No waves, rubbish weather. Bit of wind blown chop if you're lucky :(

No end to the flat spell yet....

I'm very sorry to say but I've been surfing 2-3ft and very clean on a reef in Trinidad..... that was the day before yesterday.... I very much enjoyed it, although the waves weren't very powerful!

Things are about to drop off here for a little while too.

Wrote an app that collates relevant info from the web and sets my desktop image to it :D The above is a scaled down version of this morning's image.

Five days or so until the next pulse... The weekend's a bit of a writeoff so far.

This flat spell is getting silly...

Looking as far ahead as possible (middle of next week) and this high pressure is STILL sitting there to the west of the UK blocking any hope of decent swell

I can feel my paddling muscles shrivelling to nothing :(

Broosta, mate, you're losing friends all over

Looks nice...
I coulda come up, but scarborough etc is so flippin' far in a campervan and I wasnt all that confident about whether it was gonna work or not, 'cos Im no expert on the NE coast. Next time I'll give someone local a shout (ie you) and see whether you think its worth the drive :D

Finally... hints of a change beginning for next week... A low (possibly) developing, although a bit far north, and FINALLY pushing this huge area of low pressure south. Still early days, but the sea might not be quite so much like a pond by the middle/end of next week :D
