- I was just wondering if being a junior life gaurd and having a flow sponsor skateboarding would help me learning to surf?? :?

Swimming should help your paddling a bit. I went and did 50 laps today trying to get in shape for my september trip. So tried now... :cry:

lol why would being a junior lifeguard help you?! i suppose for the knowledge of rips etc, if you are a lifeguard at a surf beach that is! as for the skateboarding thing...it might help you after your initial struggle of poping up, but anything before you learn to turn etc, i highly doubt it... good luck though
