Help~ a dumb question~~

Postby qtong » Wed Jul 26, 2006 11:55 pm

Hi guys. I am going to bring my friend to surf on the weekend. but my other 6'10 board broke with the left side fin. I am thinking Can i take off the right side fin as well so make a single fin surfboard? is it surfable?
Thanks

ooo, should have gotten a board with FCS....But yeah, it should be ridable. Its a 6'10"? It might make it a little harder to surf, but not too much.

What fin system are you using? Did just the fin break (not the plug, i.e. no board damage)?

Surfing it as a single fin won't be bad if you can put in a bigger fin, but I think it would totally suck with a small thruster cluster sized fin!

I went out with my 6'6 with no fins on..lmfao.

Just as you paddle for the wave you spin around and end up poping up backwards! Its great fun, but you needs crazy balance
