anyone know how to treat surfers ear besides that thing u can buy??

I believe there is some info on this site if you do a search. Best home remedy to dry out ears--rubbing alcohol. To disinfect--hydrogen peroxide.
And whatever you do, never use cotton swabs in your ears, as they can make the waxy buildup worse.

How'd you get it? ok don't say surfing! oh no.. impact? Or water in ear not being able to escape? :?

I surf with blue tac in my ears ......and quite a few other surfers do down this way

earplugs, are also a good preventative measure, as the water in CA can quite often be somewhat contaminated. :(
