N. Devon later this week?

Postby drowningbitbybit » Tue Jun 20, 2006 8:40 am

Its got to that point after a longer-than-I'd-like lack of surf.... surf's not all that great, dont care.... I should be at work, dont care... Dont get paid for a week and Ive run out of money, dont care.... everyone else is busy, dont care.... I'm off surfing

So Im gonna be heading off towards n. devon later this week (late wednesday or early thursday) but sadly girlf working, and mates busy

Anyone about in the area later this week/weekend?

I know how you feel - I was thinking the same yesterday, but I just haven't got the money for petrol. Wish I could join you. Have fun. x

dunno about lack of surf, there was a bit yesterday and it was going off today, seems to be building too so could be big tomorrow and good for the next few days after.

It was about 4-5ft at Rhossilli with howling winds and raining heavy! Wasn't too bad. Some waves got a bit messy. It looks ok to surf up until saturday by the looks of it, cant promise anything though.

Will pray for surf!

Surf looking okay once this wind calms down a bit on friday.

So into the water tomorrow to get my waterlegs back, and hopefully a good day on friday :D

rhosilli can get a bit of shelter from southerlies, but just the thought of that walk back up the cliff in strong winds puts me off there. looks like westerlies all week tho so the south gower beaches should get a bit more shelter
