did my first ding repair the other day!! so chuffed with my self! bit of the nose had broken i dont think it was a bad first attempt, looks alright, but is it strong?!!

normally when you do ding repairs, the actual repair you do with the resin etc makes it stronger as the solution used for repairs is denser and therefore has a stronger hold than before it snaps! I know people that have had a board snapped in half before and repaired it and it has definately been stronger than before! It all depends on how you repaired and what with. But most of the time, it is definately stronger. As long as you make sure you don't get the board wet for a week or so after it sets as it goes a lot tougher after the first day or so after the board is repaired.
