I want to know how much people have been surfing in Mundaka, and your opinion.

Only done it on Kelly Slater's Pro Surfer....sorry, can't help you much. It's an awesome ride on there though. :)

Mundaka

I've surfed mundaka before. When its going off, you are very lucky if you're one of 50 people in there at that specific time. It is very crowded nowadays, especially around september time when the winter groundswell starts returning and the water is at its warmest. But I think it is definately worth waiting out there with all the others just to get one ride, I had the time of my life!!! Not for the light-hearted or beginner mind you, the break is not too forgiving!! It is also worth looking around the coastline a bit more, although it will not have the same rivermouth characteristics as Mundaka, there are a few barely known gems just around the corner....Good Luck!! 8)
