when you rack your board are the fins supposed to be at the front or at the back?

At the front pointing up - that way the rocker of the board fits over the car roof, the fins stop the boards sliding backwards, and the delicate nose bit is kept out of harms way :D

thanks that's what i've been doing. but my friend said that they vibrat when the fins are forward.

and i say, if i carry my board with the surfboard-fit-cover(dont know how its said, my english sucks), do it mind where i put the fins?
