been living in same area for five years and found six isolated beaches tonight that i didnt even know existed, all thanks to google bloody earth! feel like a bit of a cheat actually, but cant wait for this weekend(unchartered territory).

Believe it or not there's a thing thats been about for years its called a Map!

unfortunately the area i live in is blurred because there are military bases nearby :(

unfortunately the area I live in is blurred because it's Cornwall. Apparently google doen't rate us as that interesting :(

formosan some military base's on the coast will have a decent break, there is onslow by me( on camp lejeune) its a underrated spot that is almost always empty

the maps ive looked at since being here appear to have been made when captain cook circumnavigated the coast in the 1700's. cant beat the detail of sattelite photo imagery. really blew me away.
