   Yeah...OK gotta hold my hands up to that one!! Dont tell slim. I do go to Bali every year and this is very representative of my surfing. I love big waves....the rush of a big drop, but I very rarely pull it off and get so mashhed, but when I pull it off, its sooooooooo worth the beatings. Heres another which is nearer to how I surf.....having the whole wave land on top of me. BUT I LOVE IT!!!!

Woow, cool pic!!! Bet that hurt. I know what you mean, the rush and feel of dropping in that fast on a big wave (nothing beats the feeling). It can get scary after a few good beatings, I would not like to be you in that pic lol

Dude, are you UK? If so, how much do the Bali holidays cost you? And are the photos you've posted a good indication of the surf there?

I'm in London as well....not much surf as you well know. I drive a cab so I work as hard as I can 7 days a week for a few months and shoot off to Bali for a couple of months and then usually the North Coast of Spain for a few more weeks. Bali is so cheap you would not beleive. I normally pay 2 quid a night for hotel including breakfast, rent a bike (moped) with rack for board for about £1.50 a day. If you eat local food , a good meal should be about a quid. Western food....the sky's the limit, but you can get a pizza and a beer for a couple of quid. so its dirt cheap once your there. The flight is the expensive bit. I've had it as low as £340 during SARS and about £750 high season.
But just like anywhere you get days with great waves and other days that are flat, but I think if you go June , July, Aug, sept, you'll get more good days.
