Hi there.
I've just started surfing, and I just wanted to say hi to all of you, and a thanks to whoever made the site, its given me lots of useful tips!
I'm just about to order my 1st board - I'm going for a 7'2 'hawaiian sleds' mini mal. So if anyone knows anything bad about em, nows the time! :D
I went surfing at Newquay last weekend, and ever since I've been desperate to get back out there. I've put on a bit of weight over the past couple of years, this has finally given me a reason to sort meself out and stop smoking!

I used to smoke, kept giving up and starting again, the only thing that has really properly stopped me is the surfing. I just wanted and still do to get better and better at surfing more than any other sport and the smokes were really holding me back.
I really noticed a difference in lung capacity and the ability not too get knackered so quick

Good luck mate with the surfing and giving up smoking

Just swap one addiction for the other

Cheers. I have been having cravings all week, but not for nicotine, for surfing!
I'm trying to sort out getting down to Woolacombe this weekend. Anyone know if its gonna be worth it?

the general consensus is that its gonna be a flat as a small rabbit under the wheels of a 10 ton lorry this weekend in the south west.

However the east coast is gonna be cranking
Ive got day off tommorow for a light surf in the sun
whoop whoop

All I'm really looking for is small waves till I can stand properly and consistantly.
Plus its a bit of a hike to the East Coast - I live in Yeovil.

Hawaiian Sleds - I know one thing about them and that is that if they ride half as good as they look, you're in for a treat - lush lush lush!!!!
