progressing on smaller waves

Postby spicolij420 » Fri Mar 26, 2021 3:19 pm

Hi! I live on the gulf coast of florida and don't really have access to a lot of good waves. On the rare occasion that we do get waves they're (usually) small (waist high) and close out pretty quick. This goes for any break within an hour of my house. Anyone have any advice for progressing when you don't have a lot of space to do maneuvers?

Get a Carver skateboard. Practicing in a small driveway will ingrain the muscle memory and flowing technique that will translate out in the surf.

What size board / model / fins set up are you riding ?
