Surfboard fins

Postby Ihavetoomanynames » Mon Oct 01, 2018 4:46 pm

I recently broke out one of my fins. I have a FCS GAM fins. I replaced the fin with a FCS GAM2. Will this effect how board functions or not?

I am assuming you have replaced the Gabriel Medina FCS GM fin with a FCS GM II , unless you are Gabriel Medina, you won’t notice any difference unless the size is different!
It will, still your performance that does the trick

I think the OP should have written G-AM and G-AM2 to denote the Al Merrick template. But not sure if he meant those. If so the G-AM2 is smaller than the G-AM. The funny and confusing thing for customers/retailers is in Future fins it was the opposite way.
If you are just replacing one of the side fins it might make a slight difference that oddly you might end up liking. Might loosen up you turn going backside.
