Indoor waves, anyone tried'em?

Postby tomthetreeman » Thu Nov 30, 2017 2:26 pm

It's flat as a pancake up here in NE, and I'm thinking about giving this a whirl:

They make the wave bigger once or twice a month, and you can get on the list for it too:

As a new surfer, I'm thinking it might actually be a good little skill builder. Whaddya think?

Tom

(It's 1.5 hours from me, so not too bad!)

Better than nothing. I think it would take some getting used to...... but perhaps I am getting too old for some sport where you need a crash helmet. I like falling into deeper water.
So what is worse.... dying or regretting it for the rest of my life? Obviously I chose not regretting it.
