2017 Vans US Open Favorites

Hey everyone, hope you all are pumped for this weekend . List your favorite competitors and who you are looking forward to see!

I will be happy to see Keanu Asing, Dusty Paine and Mason Ho surfing but not sure even who all will be surfing in it since it is a QS series contest and WSL hasn't posted the official roster that I can find. On the women's side it is a WCT contest so the usual suspects will be there other than maybe not Malia Manuel since she is still rehabbing or so I hear. There is a women's QS contest running now the Paul Mitchel Neon Supergirl contest but they aren't broadcasting it live yet

Jordy Smith and Felipe Toledo will be surfing. I thought Jordy Smith should have done better last year. I guess I like his surfing more than the judges do, Felipe.....well if he surfs like he did at JBay I will be thrilled to watch him. I am guessing though he is going to do multiple airs on every wave which isn't too exciting to me on smaller waves. It's Kanoa Igarishi's home break and he will be there too. He hasn't had the best year so far, hopefully this contest will boost his ratings
