Just got back.... it was a riot!!

Postby rip curl girl » Thu Aug 25, 2005 3:50 pm

Hi, am a newie to the forum but have been reading some of the posts. I've just got back from surfing in Cornwall and man, it was awesome. I loved every minute of it - we got up at 6 (especially if surf was up) and hit the waves. Surfed in a few different places but Whipsiderry was by far the best! Had a few issues getting the boards on the roof of my Corsa... but we managed it. Next stop is Biarritz and then Morrocco. Anyone else been surfing there? would be great to hear some of the stories.

Till then... Rip Curl Girl...

Yep nothing like a good surf trip with your mates especially when you get good waves. That feeling of sik joy stays with you long after the trip is over.

Maintain the stoke and enjoy the next destinations.

I'm in Western Australia. If you're down this way drop me a line and we'll get some waves. Always looking for someone to surf with.

Never been to Oz and at moment can't see it happening in near future mate. Spent all the British Pounds on Biaritz and Morocco!!!! But if you're ever this way then give us a shout - love it. How long you been surfing and what board have you got? I surf a bunty board it really rips but the best bit is it's pink and white!!!

No mate - got an Aussie dude who works out there - going to stay with him. It'll be ace. He works for a surf tuition company out there.

I've been surfing on and off for the past 32 years. I'm riding a 9' squash tail and an 8' rounded pin at the moment the link will give you an idea of what it (the 9 footer goes like)
https://surfing-waves.com/waves/pic156.htm If I'm ever up that way will definitely be letting a few people on these forums know I'm coming. Nothing like local knowledge to get you into the right places. Pardon my ignorance but what is a bunty board? And what other colour would a girl choose but pink and white  Just stoked your into it!

Best link I can find for you for on a bunty www.surfedout.com/surf_details.asp?productid=1113
Its a red and yellow one but gives you the idea. I love it - bit mashed now as hit a rock in Cornwall last week - bummer!

Take it that's you riding the wave on the link then mate? wicked. Board looks ace. Been surfing a while then right? I've only been surfing 6 years - started when I was 18 and kept it up really. It's such a great life. Water sooo warm here last week only had my boardies and a rashie on - awesome!
