Beginner board ? Good deal ?

Postby waikikikichan » Fri May 19, 2017 1:01 am

Just joking, not another "bought before I asked for advice" post. This is a board I bought on Craigslist for $40. The seller was clearing out his garage. Just missed out on a Brewer and a Aipa. My friend picked up a vintage G.Pang.

The rails had a lot of crusty fiberglass, so we just hotcoated up to the cut laps on the deck. How you like the old school leash "plug" ?

I love how the tail is soo thick, more than most boards in the center of the deck. Nose is thin though.

Regular leash plugs were in use before I ever started using a leash consequently I never surfed with a leash to the fin arrangement.
So what is worse.... dying or regretting it for the rest of my life? Obviously I chose not regretting it.
