Swell forecasting

Postby sinistapenguin » Tue Aug 02, 2005 2:46 pm

I found this site a little while ago and thought I would share it with you:

http://www.swell-forecast.com

It has tutorials on how to read the different types of weather chart to predict surf.

My predictions are generally getting better and if I'm right the SW of the UK should be getting some surf this weekend, plus the weather's supposed to be getting better too.

I would avoid Newquay though, cos the boardmasters are on and Razorlite are playing, so it'll be rammed!!

Cheers

Sinista

Im going to be in devon this weekend, so if its flat Im blaming you sinista  :D

Okay, so my personal forecast had already spied the incoming swell and the travel arrangements already made, but its still nice to have someone else to blame when you sit in the pub looking out over a flat ocean
