buy a magnetic lock box that you can put your keys in and stick the box to the bottom of your car or something.

My keys have that too, it's called Immobilizer. What I do is bring my valet key in the water with me in my side pocket and leave my real set of keys under my drivers seat. When my session is over I unlock my door with the valet key then use my real set to fire up the car. Keys with immobilizer come pretty water tight so there is really nothing to worry about. I've brought mine in the water atleast 20 times with no probs.

If you want, bring your key to the hardware store and have them make a copy of it. It won't have the chip in it so it won't start your car but you can use it to unlock your doors or trunk.

Most newer cars have a gas door release lever which is located inside the car so that probably won't work. Just get a copy of the key made at a shop and bring it in the water with you. Replacement "chipped" keys are about 50-60 bucks so just get an unchipped from the hardware store or something, maybe even the dealership if you explain your situation.

Hey. I had this problem too. I bought a waterproof pack in this camping store in my local shopping centre. Its large enough for keys,wallet,money... It also comes with a string to tie around your neck. If I were you I would ask around in camping stores or you could go on google and type in 'buy waterproof key holder' and buy one online although they are expensive online! Mine only cost £7!!
