Scratched by wetsuit reinforcement

Just got my first new wetsuit in ten years. Amazed. I'm not cold anymore. I don't feel water under my suit anymore. Unfortunately, my shoulders are getting scratched up by reinforcements that cover the seams at two places. Is there any way other than wearing a rash guard I can take care of this? As we head into spring and summer, I don't look forward to an extra layer under this 3/4 suit. (Brand is Rip Curl Flash Bomb. I'd be interested to hear if anyone else has had this problem.)

Try petroleum jelly or any of the creams preventing skin rash. This usually happens under your arms, behind your knees... it's weird that you have problems on your chest?
