Spray painting an old surfboard

Hi all, I have an old, very used 6'3" surfboard that I would like to try to refresh and make it look nicer. I have seen that some people have just spray painted their entire board and that helps a bit. Has anyone done this? And if so is there a certain kind of spray paint or any other materials I'll need? thanks.

Go to a paint store, there is a treatment that will help the paint stick
