NEED SURFING LESSONS

I know some might think that you dont need them, but I live in Ontario Ca and dont know anyone that surfs. I need to know where is a good vacant place to learn and to go out with in case somthing happens, Im not alone. Time is an issue also, Im moving away back east and dont have that many trips to the beach in the future.
